Region III is a part of Toastmasters International.

Charlotte Howard, DTM

First year International Director

Charlotte's first impression of Toastmasters was "those people are having way too much fun!!" Fortunately that didn't deter her and she joined Toastmasters the next week. Since that exhilarating charter meeting in 1995 to today, Charlotte has embraced the Toastmaster experience. From charter club member to district leader, her most memorable experiences are those of Area Governor and Host District Conference Chair for the 2006 Region III Conference.

Charlotte, a native Oklahoman, is active in the Oklahoma City community through her volunteer work. Using her passion for education and her Toastmasters skills she tutors at-risk students in the Oklahoma City Public School System.

Charlotte is employed at the law firm of Andrews Davis, PC as a bankruptcy legal assistant. She will celebrate her 26th anniversary in October with the firm.

From a shy introvert who was having no fun, to an International Director having more fun than the law should allow, Charlotte attributes her successes to Toastmasters. She is a work in progress and a shining example of President Ford's theme for 2007-2008, Shaping Ourselves… Shaping Our World.
